OPEN WEEKEND

We are holding an open weekend on 17th and 18th May from 10am each day at our club house in East Barton Road, Great Barton, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP31 2RF.

If you have not played bowls before this is an ideal opportunity to come and have a go. If you already play come along and see how our club runs.

We will supply any equipment required and only ask that you wear flat shoes.

 We will also have a cake, plant and book stalls.

Great Barton Bowls Club is a friendly, village club located in the heart of Great Barton, near Bury St Edmunds. Established in 1935 the club still has longstanding members as well as new members regularly enjoying a fun game of bowls.

We participate in league games and county competitions and hold lots of fun social events throughout the summer bowls season as well as a jam packed diary of events throughout the winter. (see Activities page)

We are always welcoming new members regardless of age or experience and can offer support to the most novice of bowlers through to the experienced bowler. Bowls is not only a great way to regularly exercise it is a social sport that thrives within a team environment and you can make many new friends that could last a lifetime.
